Lotus Unveils Emeya Pricing: A Hyper-GT Redefining Electric Performance and Usability

Posted on March 8, 2024

Lotus has unveiled the price of its highly anticipated Emeya electric hyper-GT, boasting a potent combination of blistering performance, luxurious comfort, and impressive usability. The Emeya sets a new standard for the segment, and European customers can now configure and order theirs ahead of a Q3 2024 delivery.

The Emeya seamlessly blends the thrill of a Lotus sports car with the practicality of a grand tourer. With a starting price of £94,950 (€106,400), it comes in three variants: Emeya, Emeya S (well-equipped Hyper-GT), and the top-of-the-line Emeya R.

Unmatched Performance and Efficiency

The Emeya boasts exceptional performance figures, living up to Lotus’s motorsport heritage. Its power output reaches up to a staggering 905 bhp, propelling the car from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in a phenomenal 2.8 seconds, placing it among the quickest electric vehicles globally.

But Emeya isn’t just about raw speed. Thanks to an innovative battery design that allows for 20% more cells in the same space, Emeya offers a market-leading maximum WLTP range of 610 km (379 miles). Additionally, the car supports rapid charging, achieving a 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes using a 350kW DC fast-charger.

Precision Handling and Driver Engagement

Emeya incorporates cutting-edge technologies to deliver a dynamic and exhilarating driving experience. Features include an innovative driver-focused suspension system with all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering for exceptional handling. Advanced active aerodynamics further optimize stability and road feel. Drivers can also personalize their experience with up to five driving modes, ranging from Range for maximum efficiency to Track for a thrilling circuit experience.

Luxury Redefined for Everyday Use

The Emeya isn’t just about performance; it redefines luxury for the electric car segment. The spacious interior, with ample legroom for all passengers, ensures a comfortable ride for everyone on board. A 509-litre boot offers ample room for luggage, making Emeya a true grand tourer companion.

Luxury extends beyond space, with features like ambient lighting that interacts with the driver experience, power-assisted doors for seamless entry, and a kick sensor for hands-free boot access. Passengers can also unwind with five massage modes at various intensity levels.

Next-Generation Connectivity

The Emeya boasts a state-of-the-art 15.1-inch HD OLED infotainment system powered by Unreal Engine gaming technology. This system offers a responsive and interactive experience, allowing drivers to control various features with a simple touch. Additionally, Emeya features an intelligent EV routing system that learns driver patterns and suggests personalized routes, and an expansive Augmented Reality head-up display for crucial information without taking your eyes off the road. Over-the-air software updates ensure Emeya stays at the forefront of technology.

A New Era for Electric GTs

With its unparalleled performance, impressive range, luxurious comfort, and cutting-edge technology, the Lotus Emeya sets a new benchmark for electric hyper-GTs. With European deliveries starting in Q3 2024, Emeya marks a significant step forward for electric vehicles, offering drivers an exciting blend of exhilarating performance, everyday usability, and unparalleled luxury.
