Škoda has supercharged its upcoming Elroq electric SUV line-up, adding a sporty SportLine trim and two new mid-range models. The move expands customer choice and brings a performance-focused edge to the eagerly anticipated EV. Order books are open now, with deliveries expected in spring 2025.
Leading the charge is the Elroq SportLine, available with both 60kWh and 85kWh battery options. This flagship model boasts a striking design package and enhanced driving dynamics. The SportLine 85 variant takes performance up a notch with lowered sports suspension and progressive dynamic steering.
The Elroq SportLine 60, priced from £37,400, features a 204PS motor driving the rear wheels, a 63kWh (59kWh net) battery, and a WLTP range of up to 263 miles. The SportLine 85, also starting from £37,400, packs a more powerful 286PS motor, an 82kWh (77kWh net) battery, and a WLTP range of up to 355 miles. The 60 model supports DC rapid charging up to 165kW, while the 85 can handle up to 175kW.
SportLine models distinguish themselves with gloss black exterior details, including mirror caps, window trims, and roof rails. Both versions roll on 20-inch Asterion black alloy wheels and feature a gloss black front bumper spoiler and rear apron insert. The SportLine badge takes pride of place on the tailgate, replacing the battery designation. Privacy glass for the rear side and rear windows comes as standard.
Inside, the SportLine’s black-themed interior features microsuede and artificial leather sports seats with grey contrasting stitching and integrated head restraints. A heated sports steering wheel, carbon-effect trim, and stainless-steel pedal covers complete the sporty look. Standard equipment includes full LED Matrix beam headlights, a 13-inch infotainment system with satellite navigation, and an electrically-operated tailgate with kick activation.
Škoda has also introduced two new mid-range models: the Elroq SE L 60 and the Elroq Edition 60. Both feature a 204PS rear-mounted motor, a 63kWh (59kWh net) battery, a WLTP range of 265 miles, and 165kW DC rapid charging capability.
The SE L 60, starting from £33,350, builds on the base SE model with added features like satellite navigation, a heated multifunction steering wheel, heated front seats, parking sensors, and drive mode select.
The Elroq Edition 60, also from £33,350, adds 19-inch Regulus alloy wheels, dark chrome roof rails and window trim, privacy glass, Travel Assist Plus, keyless entry and start, predictive adaptive cruise control, wireless charging, and upgraded USB-C ports.
These additions to the Elroq line-up offer a broader range of options for EV buyers, from the sporty performance of the SportLine to the enhanced features of the SE L and Edition models. With competitive pricing and impressive range figures, Škoda aims to make a significant impact on the electric SUV market.
