Hyundai Makes Award-Winning IONIQ 5 and 6 More Affordable with March Leasing Deals

Posted on March 11, 2024

Hyundai has announced attractive leasing offers for its award-winning IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 electric vehicles, making them even more accessible to both personal and business users in the UK. These March offers focus on the Premium trim with a 77.4 kWh battery and rear-wheel drive, known for its impressive range of up to 315 miles (IONIQ 5) and 322 miles (IONIQ 6).

For personal users seeking a convenient way to drive an electric car without the commitment of ownership, Personal Contract Hire (PCH) options start from £299 per month. This applies to the IONIQ 5 Premium with a lower initial payment and a longer 36-month term stretching to £379 per month.

Those who prefer a traditional lease structure can opt for Business Contract Hire (BCH), starting from a very competitive £249.16 per month (excluding VAT) for businesses. Similar to PCH, businesses can also choose a longer term with a lower initial payment, bringing the monthly cost down to £316 (excluding VAT).

Both PCH and BCH offers come with a set mileage allowance, and excess mileage charges may apply. It’s important to check the full terms and conditions at a participating Hyundai dealership before signing up.

“These March offers make the IONIQ 5 and 6 even more attractive propositions for both personal and business users,” said a spokesperson for Hyundai Motor UK. “With their impressive range, state-of-the-art charging technology, and comprehensive warranty package, these award-winning electric vehicles offer a compelling alternative to traditional gasoline or diesel cars.”

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 and 6 are built on the company’s advanced Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which allows for ultra-fast charging using the latest 350 kW charging points. This significantly reduces charging times compared to older EV technology.

Both vehicles have also garnered critical acclaim, with the IONIQ 5 winning the prestigious World Car of the Year award in 2022, while the IONIQ 6 followed suit in 2023. These accolades highlight the vehicles’ design, performance, and technological advancements in the electric vehicle market.

The March offers are valid for orders received between February 22nd and March 31st, 2024, so interested parties should visit their local Hyundai dealership or the Hyundai UK website for more information and to take advantage of these limited-time deals.

Henry Benz isn't your average automotive journalist. He's not obsessed with horsepower or zero-to-sixty times. His passion lies in the quiet hum of electric motors, the surge of instant torque, and the thrill of a world hurtling towards a sustainable future. Henry is the EV evangelist, your plug-in pal, and the guy who will make you fall in love with the world of electric vehicles, one test drive at a time.

Henry's journey began in the golden age of muscle cars. He spent his youth wrenching on classic V8s, his nose forever stained with grease and his ears ringing with the roar of internal combustion. But as the climate crisis loomed larger, a seed of doubt sprouted in his gearhead heart. Could there be a way to enjoy the thrill of the open road without sacrificing the planet?

That's when Henry discovered the world of EVs. He was captivated by the silent power, the instant acceleration, and the sleek, futuristic designs. He devoured every article, watched every documentary, and hopped behind the wheel of every electric car he could find. He was hooked.
