Mazda Sweetens the Deal: MX-30 BEV Now More Affordable and Accessible than Ever

Posted on January 5, 2024

Mazda‘s first foray into the electric vehicle (EV) realm, the stylish and engaging MX-30 BEV, is getting even more tempting in 2024 with a range of enhanced consumer offers. Increased production has paved the way for a more attractive price point and enticing financing options, making the MX-30 a compelling choice for eco-conscious drivers seeking a fun and practical electric car.

Gone are the days of limited availability and hefty price tags. Mazda UK is now offering the MX-30 BEV with a starting price of just £28,995, a significant £2,255 reduction compared to earlier. This price drop makes the MX-30 a more competitive contender in the increasingly crowded EV market.

But the good news doesn’t stop there. Mazda is also throwing in a free Pod Point home charger for retail customers who place an order now. This eliminates the worry of finding public charging stations for everyday commutes, as most UK journeys fall within the MX-30’s 124-mile range. Additionally, customers can choose between two attractive financing options:

  • 5 years 0% APR Mazda Hire Purchase: This option requires a 40% minimum deposit but allows you to spread the cost of your MX-30 over five years with no interest charges.
  • 4 years 0% APR Personal Contract Purchase (PCP): This option offers a lower monthly payment with no minimum deposit and a £500 Mazda deposit contribution. However, you’ll need to consider the final balloon payment at the end of the PCP term.

These financing options, coupled with the free home charger, make owning the MX-30 a more affordable and convenient proposition than ever.

But the MX-30’s appeal goes beyond its attractive price tag. Packed with standard features like LED headlights, cruise control, navigation, and a head-up display, even the base Prime-Line model offers a generous level of equipment. Moving up the trim levels unlocks additional goodies like power seats, a sunroof, and a Bose sound system.

No matter which trim you choose, you’ll be treated to a stylish and sustainable cabin crafted with high-quality materials. Cork accents on the center console and door handles add a touch of eco-friendliness, while the floating center console and spacious interior create a welcoming and driver-focused environment.

Speaking of driving, the MX-30 stays true to Mazda’s “Jinba Ittai” philosophy, delivering the engaging handling and intuitive responses expected from the brand. Electric G-Vectoring Control Plus optimizes stability, while the Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture ensures a smooth and enjoyable driving experience.

With its increased affordability, practical features, and engaging driving dynamics, the Mazda MX-30 BEV has upped its game for 2024. If you’re looking for a stylish, fun, and accessible electric car, the MX-30 is definitely worth a closer look. With the enhanced offers and free home charger, there’s never been a better time to experience the Mazda difference in the electric era.

Henry Benz isn't your average automotive journalist. He's not obsessed with horsepower or zero-to-sixty times. His passion lies in the quiet hum of electric motors, the surge of instant torque, and the thrill of a world hurtling towards a sustainable future. Henry is the EV evangelist, your plug-in pal, and the guy who will make you fall in love with the world of electric vehicles, one test drive at a time.

Henry's journey began in the golden age of muscle cars. He spent his youth wrenching on classic V8s, his nose forever stained with grease and his ears ringing with the roar of internal combustion. But as the climate crisis loomed larger, a seed of doubt sprouted in his gearhead heart. Could there be a way to enjoy the thrill of the open road without sacrificing the planet?

That's when Henry discovered the world of EVs. He was captivated by the silent power, the instant acceleration, and the sleek, futuristic designs. He devoured every article, watched every documentary, and hopped behind the wheel of every electric car he could find. He was hooked.
